New Condo, New Decorations

So I am slowly converting my decor from purple and girly to browns and greens so that Devin will stop complaining and it will have a cozier feel. The we are still in the process of making an ottoman ( in the process as in not even started one bit except for me buying cute fabric on sale that hopefully some day I will use to make an ottoman) And also Devin is going to make a cute shelf/coat rack to go under the square pics in the dining area to liven up that big wall between the windows. We are going to stain it the same color as the kitchen table because we had left over stain and hopefully put some candles and other frilly things on as well. I stole the idea for the picture art from allposters.com... did I pull it off? Ill post some pictures

Devin's Birthday- A fabulous Weekend

Its Devin and my first blog so good thing we had a fun weekend so we have something to blog about. We went to the Lovell Ranch for 4 nights and had a blast. Devin invited his friends from work and some other friends from our apartment complex came as well. We played games, ate tons of junk food, watched movies, and visited some beautiful waterfalls. Thinking we would just drive by and see the waterfalls, all the girls wore flip flops, this is never a good idea when you go anywhere with Devin or Crystal and Dawnelle's Husbands. As I learned from our pallisades lake trip, you have to hike for the view they want. So we all rock climbed down to the bottom of the falls in our flip flops. We almost slipped off the cliffs dozens of times (me from trying to avoid the hornets nest we were invading) but we made it down safely and got to take some great pictures and enjoy the view. Idaho has some of the most beutiful scenery anywhere I have ever been. Its so great that we could enjoy it with some super awesome friends.

Devin is excited to be 25 now. We picked out a new flat screen t.v for his birthday that we are way excited about. I guess its a fever that runs in the Dopp family. I'll post some pictures below...
